Working now: Shorts and Reels only blocking (the rest of YouTube and Instagram stays), day, week and month reports, chat with photo sharing and voice notes, one to one calls, and all the timers: stopwatch, timer, pomodoro and clock.
This is the first public home for the app. You can join the beta list, send feedback, and vote on ideas right here.
Most of this month went into the glass. Blur, edges, highlights, how panels sit on top of each other. Small things, but they decide whether the app feels cheap or calm.
Beta testing is planned for December 2026. Public launch is aimed at January to February 2027.
Vedrino is an Android focus app for students, built solo by Alok. It blocks only Shorts and Reels, has study timers and reports, and lets you chat and call your study friends, all in one calm app. It also blocks whole apps with limits, schedules and strict mode. Vedrino is coming soon on Google Play.
It's built for exactly that, but it's still in beta, so judge it yourself when the beta opens in December 2026. Vedrino is coming soon on Google Play. Working now: Shorts and Reels only blocking, whole app blocking with limits, schedules and strict mode, day, week and month reports, all the timers, chat with photo sharing and voice notes, and one to one calls.
Vedrino blocks only the Shorts and Reels parts, so the rest of YouTube and Instagram keeps working for lectures and messages. Turn it on before a study session and the feeds stay closed.
Yes, Vedrino has chat with photo sharing and voice notes, plus one to one calls, right next to your timers. Group calls are on the way.
No, Vedrino is Android only. There's no iPhone or desktop version planned yet.
It isn't released yet. Vedrino is coming soon on Google Play. The closed Android beta is planned for December 2026, and public launch on Google Play is aimed at Jan to Feb 2027. Join the waitlist and you'll get an invite by email.
The core app is free, plus an affordable premium plan, priced at launch. While I test, every feature and theme is unlocked.
Yes, nothing about it is school only. The timers, reports and Shorts and Reels blocking work the same for deep work, it's just designed with students in mind.
Live timer notifications, uninstall protection and group calls. 11 custom themes are built. Font styling and the liquid glass design are still being refined.
Those are good apps with their own strengths. What Vedrino puts together is Shorts and Reels only blocking, whole app blocking with limits, schedules and strict mode, timers, reports, chat and one to one calls in one Android app. The comparison pages lay out the facts side by side.
Please do. Post on the ideas board, vote on others, or send feedback. A lot of the roadmap comes straight from there.
